Our research focus is oriented on problems of industrial practice. The objective is to improve occupational health and safety by deriving practicable protective measures and concepts with high effectiveness. We always take into account the real environmental and operating conditions as well as aspects of economic efficiency.

In addition to modern laboratories, we have a test facility in Kappelrodeck. Explosion tests with dust-air mixtures and with gas-air mixtures can be carried out under practical conditions on a large scale there.
