Explosion testing
Depending on the task, we can carry out explosion tests on a laboratory scale in our dust laboratory in Mannheim or on an industrial scale at the test facility in Kappelrodeck. The spectrum ranges from the determination of explosion characteristics of dusts to explosion tests within the scope of EC type examinations to special investigations outside the scope of ATEX and within the scope of your product development. Our test facility in Kappelrodeck offers an extensive infrastructure for processing a wide variety of tasks.

Here are a few examples to give you an idea of what we can do:
- Test container up to a volume of 60 m³
- 15m high experimental bucket elevator
- Pipelines up to nominal diameters of 1000 mm
- A pneumatic conveying system for dust-like products
- Centrifugal fans of various powers
- High-speed measurement technology for the determination of pressure curves over time and the detection of flame fronts
- High-speed video technology for resolution of very fast movements
- Infrared high-speed camera for determining temperatures of escaping flames, hot gas clouds
